South East Herts Beekeepers Association

Introduction to Beekeeping Course

South East Herts Beekeepers Association run an Introduction to Beekeeping Course each year for those who maybe interested in beekeeping or want to find out about what it involves.

The course runs to a well established format and is delivered in an informal style where we encourage everyone to get involved.

You will try your hand at making up frames and have the chance to handle bees and well as finding out all about life in the hive.

Next Course Commences: TBA

Due to restrictions imposed to help control the spread of Covid 19, we regret to announce that we are not in a position to run our Beginners course which was due to commence at the end of March 2021. We will be monitoring how the situation develops and hope to be able to do something later in the year. I realise that this will be disappointing for all of those who have expressed an interest in the course but we will do everything we can to run whatever we can as soon as it is safe to do so.
